How to Exercise Your Choice
1. Use the On-Site Privacy Control
Select "Opt Out of Sale, Sharing & Targeted Advertising" or open "Manage Privacy Preferences" above. You should not be required to create an account or provide information that is not reasonably necessary to process the choice.
2. Use Global Privacy Control
Where required and technically supported, we treat a valid Global Privacy Control or other legally recognized opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out for the browser or device sending the signal.
If the signal is detected, the page should display that the opt-out request has been honored. Because browser signals are generally device- and browser-specific, you may need to enable the signal separately on each browser or device.
3. Submit an Email Request
You may email admin@provenstep.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share Request." Please include only the information reasonably necessary for us to understand and apply your request.
For cookie- or device-based advertising activity, the on-site control or a recognized browser signal is usually the most effective method. If you ask us to apply an opt-out to information associated with an email address or business contact record, we may request limited information needed to identify the relevant record.
What Happens After You Opt Out
- We will process the opt-out as soon as reasonably feasible and within the period required by applicable law.
- Where California law applies, we will comply as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days after receiving a valid request.
- We may maintain a record of the request so that we can honor and document your preference.
- The opt-out does not prevent disclosures to service providers or contractors that process information only for permitted business purposes under applicable agreements.
- The opt-out does not disable strictly necessary technologies needed for security, fraud prevention, form delivery, network management, or preference storage.
- You may still receive contextual advertising that is based on the content you are viewing rather than activity across different businesses or services.
- Clearing cookies, changing browsers, using a different device, or using a private-browsing session may remove a device-level preference. You may need to set the choice again.
Authorized Agents
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit an opt-out request on your behalf by emailing admin@provenstep.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to confirm the agent's authority. We will not require verification of your identity for an opt-out request unless reasonably necessary to process the request or prevent fraud.
No Discrimination
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Exercising an opt-out will not affect access to the public Site or the availability of a strategy-session request. Some personalization or advertising-related functionality may be reduced.
